Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions, and the information in the buy and fly! collectors' brochure, govern the arrangements between you and us (by which we mean Landround Marketing Ltd) in relation to your participation in the buy and fly! programme. buy and fly! is operated by Landround Marketing Ltd with the assistance of its subsidiary Landround Travel Limited, to whom all queries concerning redemption of paper and electronic points should be addressed at buy and fly! PO Box 1095 Chester CH1 4WH.
  2. buy and fly! collectors must be aged 18 years or over.
  3. Currently, buy and fly! collectors must be resident in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
  4. All flights/holidays booked using your buy and fly! points must commence in the UK or Ireland.
  5. buy and fly! points cannot be:
    1. combined with any other discount, offer or promotion
    2. re-sold
    3. replaced if lost, misplaced or stolen
    4. converted from electronic points to paper points or
    5. transferred to other collectors.
  6. All points values quoted in our publicity material are subject to possible fluctuations depending on, but not limited to, seasonality and demand. The buy and fly! team have up-to-date points values - please check with them before booking your flight. Once your booking has been confirmed the point value will not change
  7. More than one person is able to contribute points into an account, however it is only the named account holder who is able to redeem those buy and fly! points for flights or other travel and leisure offers - although travel is not limited to just the named account holder.
  8. All buy and fly! points have an expiry date - this is the date by which travel must be completed. The expiry date of electronic points can be found in the "my account" section of the buy and fly! website, once you have logged in, or by calling the buy and fly! team. The expiry date of paper points is printed on the reverse of the points.
  9. All leisure options must be booked and used before the expiry date of your buy and fly! points except for Odeon Cinema tickets and Megabowl Tenpin bowling, which will have a minimum 6 month validity period.
  10. When making a flight reservation:
    1. a minimum of seven days’ notice is required before your preferred date of travel
    2. whilst you may cancel your booking:
      1. your buy and fly! points cannot be refunded; and
      2. any taxes or other fees you have paid may not be refundable
    3. if you subsequently want to make an amendment this will be subject to a minimum £20 amendment fee, if the amendment can be made, and if we agree to it in writing
    4. all flights are subject to availability
    5. any applicable taxes/passenger service charges are payable at the time of booking, by credit or debit card
    6. your flight is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant airline (their terms and conditions are available on request)
    7. for your own protection and peace of mind it is recommended that you and all other travellers in your party have adequate travel insurance. This insurance can either be purchased through buy and fly! at the time of making a flight booking for a flight or alternatively, you may want to provide us with written evidence of existing comparable cover.
  11. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all the necessary documentation for your trip including passports, visas and any necessary health documents for the country you are visiting.
  12. For holidays and short breaks provided by third parties:
    1. unless stated otherwise in this buy and fly! collector brochure, you can redeem your electronic points and/or paper points for vouchers with which you can pay, or part pay, for your holiday or short break.  To do so follow the instructions detailed on page 21 of the collectors’ brochure.
    2. terms and conditions are applicable to the use of each voucher. These can be viewed on our website before you redeem and are printed on each voucher. Please note each voucher has a specific expiry date.
  13. Landround Marketing Ltd and Landround Travel Limited:
    1. are not contracting with you to provide your flight and cannot be held responsible for the failure to perform of any airline or third party tour operator together with their partners, subcontractors and agents unless due to our negligence, or where we ourselves act as a tour operator to you.
    2. reserve the right to withdraw or amend any offer, at any time, without notice. We will not make such changes to any confirmed bookings unless due to an unforeseeable event, beyond our control.
    3. reserve the right to charge or claim from you the cash value of the published fare for any flight should the required number of paper points not be received.
      Landround Travel Limited holds appropriate memberships/bonds for circumstances where we act as a travel agent or tour operator. These are shown on the reverse of the buy and fly! collector brochure.
  14. We (by which, in this clause 14, we mean Landround Marketing Ltd and its subsidiaries, our      collection redemption partners, agents and third party service providers) will collect and keep, share and use your personal details for the following reasons:
    1. identifying and communicating with you about your buy and fly! account
    2. tailoring our service to your requirements and preferences (including conducting market research surveys)
    3. providing your information to airlines or other third parties you wish to make a booking with, for the purpose of making that booking (where possible) and, where appropriate, to enable them to fulfil their contract with you
    4. if you have indicated that we may do so:
      1. providing you with information about our products and services
      2. providing you with information about products and carefully selected third parties
      3. providing your details to carefully selected third parties who may contact you about their own products and services.
  15. These terms incorporate our privacy policy, which sets out additional details on how we will use your information and collected data. Our privacy policy is available on our website; www.buyandfly.com/privacy.htm or on request from buy and fly! PO Box 1095, Chester CH1 4WH.  Please read our privacy policy to ensure you are in agreement with it before you register to become a buy and fly! collector.
  16. Please note that we reserve the right to vary our participating airlines, tour operators and travel operators from time to time. This will not affect any confirmed bookings.
  17. If it becomes necessary to make changes to the terms and conditions we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can. Your continued collection of buy and fly! points will indicate your acceptance of such changes.
  18. English law governs these terms and conditions and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts to resolve any disputes that may arise.
  19. By providing us with the information required to arrange any bookings, registration or any exchange forms, and ticking the appropriate box on the registration form, or online, you are deemed to have accepted these terms (including our privacy policy) and to have gained consent from members of your party to disclose their details to us. If you do not tick the box we will not be able to process your registration or any booking.
  20. Landround Marketing Ltd is not responsible for the content of external websites. This is because: The inclusion of a link to an external website from the buy and fly! website should not be understood to be an endorsement of that website or the site's owners (or their products/services).
