With Assure 6 Choice you won't have to wait more than six weeks for medical treatment.
With this plan you’ll receive private treatment for eligible new conditions that arise after you join, if the NHS cannot provide that treatment within six weeks of the date it should take place. This includes cover for:
- in-patient treatment
- day-patient treatment
- associated specialists' charges
- out-patient surgical procedures
- diagnostic scans (CT, MRI and PET)

Your cover for pre-existing conditions
With this plan, there's no need to have a medical examination or provide information about your medical history. Instead, there's a set period of time during which you will not be covered for treatment of any medical conditions that you had suffered from before you took out the policy.
For the first two years of the policy you will not be eligible for treatment of any medical conditions you have had in the five years prior to the date of joining. However if these conditions do not recur during a continuous two year period after you join, you will be eligible for treatment of these conditions in the future.
