- How many points do I have?
- You can check your buy and fly! points balance by logging in to the “my account” section - your balance is displayed on the right side of the screen, you can view more details by clicking on the "statement" link.
- Can I pay for flights partly with points and partly with money?
- You must have enough buy and fly! points to pay for at least one seat. However, you can pay for additional flights with a cheque, credit or laser card. The buy and fly! team will be pleased to give you a competitive quote when arranging your booking.
- Once I have exchanged my points for flights is there anything else I have to pay?
- All air travel is subject to normal airport taxes and passenger service charges. Prices are subject to currency fluctuation and depend upon the departure and arrival airport; again these may be paid by cheque, credit or laser card.
- Can I book insurance, car hire or accommodation with my points?
- No, but we can offer you these services and you can pay by credit or laser card. Buy and fly! has access to the best deals worldwide, so please ask for more information when making your booking.
- Can I book my flight online?
- No, we ask that you book any flights by telephone, to enable us to confirm instantly that all your details are correct and any queries can also be answered at this time.
- Can I have a joint account with my partner/spouse?
- Points are non-transferable and for data protection reasons we can only offer single accounts i.e. accounts in one persons name, however, more than one person can put points into the same account.
- How do I find the expiry date of my points?
- All points have an expiry date of two years from date of issue. This is the date by which travel must be completed. The expiry date of all electronic points can be found in the 'My account' section of the buy and fly! website, once you have logged in, or by calling the buy and fly! team. If you have buy and fly! paper points the date is printed on the reverse.
- If my chosen destination is not in the brochure how can I find out how many points I will need?
- Simply contact the buy and fly! team who will be able to tell you the appropriate number of points. Alternatively you can use the flight search area of the website for examples of points required.
- I'd like to go to Walt Disney World in Florida with my family but I do not have enough buy and fly! points for them all, what can I do?
- As long as you use your buy and fly! points to pay for at least one ticket, you can pay by credit or laser card for any additional tickets for your family and friends.
- What if I want more information about the Clubcard buy and fly! programme?
- Please call the Clubcard helpline on 00800 00 59 16 88 or pick up a leaflet in-store at Tesco.
- The account is in my name, do I have to travel?
- No. The account holder must make the booking but you can book for friends or family.
- How much notice do I have to give to book my flight?
- You need to give at least 7 days notice.
- Can I fly from regional airports?
- Yes. Flights quoted on our website/brochure are examples only. For points requirements from regional airports please call our travel team.
- Do I use my buy and fly! swipe card in Tesco?
- No. You will still need to use your Clubcard in Tesco. The buy and fly! swipe card is accepted in O2 Stores, Tierneys and Mari Mina Healthcare.
- How do I earn buy and fly! points with e-buy?
- Once you have logged-in with your buy and fly! account number, visit the e-buy section on the Collect Points page, and click on the logo of the store you would like to shop with. You will then be automatically taken to their website where you will receive buy and fly! points on any purchases you make. These points will be automatically credited to your buy and fly! account.
- How long does it take to get my buy and fly! points?
- The time it takes to issue buy and fly! points varies from partner to partner, but your account should typically be credited within a month of purchase.
